The Systems Integration Developer will be responsible for supporting and enhancing our mail production workflow automation. This role involves maintaining and developing code to support data processing, USPS postal preparation, and post-processing integrations across multiple applications.
· Write code that supports production and operations objectives and provides optimal functionality
· Assist with maintenance of existing Access and SQL databases and reports
· Prepare mailing files through USPS-certified applications
· Automate and execute job workflows using advanced design tools
· Integrate multiple software products
· Edit and improve upon code in existing software programs and applications
· Design new programs and applications that will enhance our business
· Collaborate with Customer Service to bring new lines of service onboard
· Ensure code is error-free, readable, efficient, and logically organized for ease of access
· Develop set systems and tasks for efficient coding processes
· Run extensive tests and trial runs to confirm proper functionality and desired results
· Perform detailed, manual checks of code
· Troubleshoot errors effectively and efficiently
· Create, manage, and maintain coding databases
· Collaborate in cross-functional projects
· Stay abreast of industry breakthroughs and any new relevant programming technology

- Strong programming experience in one or more of the following:
- C#, VB.NET, or VB6
- Experience with Microsoft Access and SQL Server
- Integration of web APIs into code
- Ability to learn and work within existing codebases
- Strong logical and analytical thinking skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under time-sensitive deadlines
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
· Strong independent work ethic
PREFERRED ADDITIONAL SKILLS:
- Familiarity with USPS mail processing standards and workflows including PostalOne
- Experience with merge-design and production composition tools such as:
- Quadient Inspire, Exstream Dialogue or other production document setup platforms
- Experience with AccuZIP, BCC or other CASS/NCOA/presort tools
· Understanding of transactional mail environments and data-driven print workflows
· This position is in an office/warehouse environment
· Standard & specialized office equipment is used (such as computers, phones, copier, mail machine, folder inserter, printers, sorters, etc.) as well as tool use (screw driver, clamps, drills, pliers, wrenches, etc.)
· Mix of physical and sedentary position
· This position would require some lifting/carrying (up to 25lbs)
· Filing, bending, standing, reaching with hands/arms, using tools, etc. as necessary
· While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to speak and hear
