Location: Buffalo, NY
COMPENSATION:
- Starting at $18/hr posted pay rates are entry level and will vary based on experience.
- This position qualifies for Monthly Mileage Reimbursements: ~6-7K per year.
- Additional opportunities to earn commissions on sales leads and selling of supplies: ~1-2k and up per year.

POSITION SUMMARY:
As Field Service Technician you will be responsible for the repair and service of document handling equipment, mailing systems, software, and other office equipment. This includes, but is not limited to; Mail Machines, Folder/Inserters, Letter Openers, Address Printers, and Shredders. This job is primarily customer facing at businesses in Topeka and the surrounding area. Our office is based out of Lenexa, but as the Topeka area technician you would be primarily located in that territory. A dependable, customer service focused person, with strong electro-mechanical and PC skills is the ideal candidate for this position.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Travel to customers location to install, service and maintain customer equipment
- Provide operator training
- Perform phone support
- Complete paperwork
- Adhere to USPS regulations/guidelines
- Manage and maintain a personal spare parts inventory
- Become trained /certified on new products as they are introduced
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair large mail machines, all inserters up to DS90i, low volume addressing, tabbing and openers.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Reliable transportation
- Good driving record / Current valid Real ID Driver’s License
- Requires lifting up to 75lbs
- Strong work ethic
- Pass a background check
- Must have strong electro-mechanical skills
- Must have good PC skills
- Good communication skills
- Adaptable and flexible
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work independently and make effective decisions
- Experience with IS6000, AS510-AS930, Santori, PS200, and PS1200
- (DS200 or DS1200) certification a plus
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:
- This position is primarily in the field at customer sites.
- Standard and specialized office equipment is used – such as computers, phones, multifunctional devices, mail machines, folder inserters, printers, sorters, etc.
- This is mainly an active position that requires ability to be on feet for 5-7 hours a day.
- This position requires lifting (up to 75lbs).
- Filing, bending, standing, reaching with hands/arms, using tools, etc. as necessary.
- While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to speak and hear
TRAVEL:
This position requires local travel with occasional out of state training travel that lasts between 3 to 5 days on average.
