USPS Announces 2021 Rate Increase

*Update: The PRC has approved the 2021 postage rate increase proposal.

The rates take effect on August 29, 2021. Here are some of the key changes to expect in August:

• First-Class Mail® will increase overall by 6.8%.
• Stamped Mail will be going up to 58 cents.
• Metered Mail will be going up 2 cents to 53 cents.
• Certified Mail® is increasing 4.2% from $3.60 to $3.75.

(July 8, 2021) As a response to changing market realities, the USPS has proposed a rate increase. This change includes popular services such as first-class mail, postcards, Certified Mail, and other services. If approved, changes will go in effect August 29, 2021.
